Our Team

Tisno Onggara is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of
Astralis Capital since 2021. With 30 years in investing
and corporate finance, he brings expertise in M&A,
venture investing, and restructurings. He specializes in
bridging Asian and US markets and leading cross-border
capital flows.An early-cycle investor, he identified major trends in
e-commerce, biotechnology, and cannabis, with a track
record across early-stage ventures and buyouts.Tisno serves as Managing Partner of his family office,
Clearview Ventures Inc. He co-founded Theorem Capital LLC
and previously held leadership roles at Mercator Group and
Century Financial Partners. Earlier, he was a portfolio
manager at AMG Capital.
Mr. Onggara holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a
post-graduate certification from Oxford University. He lives
in Los Angeles with his family. -
Evan Meyer is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of
Astralis Capital since 2021. Before launching Astralis
he was an active investor in early-stage consumer goods
and technology startups and spent over 10 years on Wall
Street in investment banking, institutional equity
markets, and venture capital.He served as Managing Director and Partner at Glade Brook
Capital Partners, a Venture Capital and Growth Equity
firm in Greenwich, CT. Before that, he was Director of
Equity Sales at CLSA Americas Inc., a global equity
research firm. His Wall Street career began in
Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers and Macquarie
Capital USA.Mr. Meyer earned an AB in American Government from
Georgetown University and an MBA in Finance from the
Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.He sits on the boards of two family businesses:
Minds-in-Motion, Inc., an educational learning program,
and Blue Bird Shoes, S.A., a Brazilian footwear startup.
He currently resides in São Paulo, Brazil with his wife
and three children. -
Adam Kaplan is a General Partner at Astralis Capital,
joining the firm in 2025 after a career leading major
sports, gaming and media businesses. Before Astralis, he
served as COO and Board Observer at SportsGrid, the
leading FAST sports wagering network in the US. He also
led Kaplan Ventures, a family investment firm focused on
sports, media, technology, gambling, AI and cannabis.Prior to SportsGrid, Kaplan was GM and VP of Content at
FanDuel Group, overseeing content strategy and revenue
across Sportsbook, Fantasy, Casino and TV. During his
tenure the company generated billions annually, launched
Sportsbooks in 12 states and expanded Fantasy and
iCasino nationwide.Earlier in his career, he was COO at numberFire, a
sports analytics platform acquired by FanDuel in 2015.
He was also among the first 25 employees at Yext, where
he built national accounts and strategic partnerships.Kaplan holds a BS in Regional Development from the
University of Arizona and resides in Atlanta with his
family.
